Janet: My boss has given me some paperwork to do on a European Project. I'm not familiar with all the jargon. Can you help me? Martin: Don't worry. It is a bit confusing at first. I used to spend a lot of time looking up web pages on the EU. You will get used to it. Janet: Really, though, I will need some guidance in drafting the project. Martin: The National Agency will give you advice on drafting the proposal. I used to contact them by phone or email. But you could send the project outline to them to get some feedback. Janet: Oh, dear. I have no idea how to start. Martin: Why don't you attend one of the seminars held by the National Agency? They used to hold them every year before the application deadline. I'm sure they still do. Janet: That's a great idea. I'll ask for approval from my boss right away.
